Taking the Train

We took the train from Penn Station in New York to Union Station in WA DC.  It was the first train ride for both of us and it was a learning experience trying to navigate through the checking in process, the waiting, the boarding - no signs or directions about which entrance to board - very confusing.  The actual ride was relaxing - which we sat and ate our delicious pastries bought in the train station in NY and watched a lady across the isle photoshop a picture of a hamburger for Red Robin!!!, The disembark was fairly painless, but then the endless waiting for our luggage (I guess not that many people check their bags...for good reason.  We were waiting a good 45 minutes for our bags to show up! Luckily we weren't in too big of a hurry!!!)  We then got an uber (a real one this time!) who picked us up right from Union Station and took us to our AirBnB.
