We had the basement of this house, that was a close distance to the National Mall and close access to the Bikeshare. We had a bedroom, living area and a kitchen. It was perfect. Our first night in DC we ran out of clean underwear, so we did laundry in the sink and let them dry in the shower..this tied us over until we did all our laundry at a laundromat on Sunday afternoon where we played bananagrams and walked around some of the neighborhoods of DC.
Our airbnb was right around the corner from a bike share rack. We biked all around WA DC. It was the perfect way to get around, see everything and get some exercise!
