1st Dance

CJ's first dance!  Oh my....  With President Nelson's adjustment to advancement ages for the young men, CJ was able to go to his first dance on January 26, 2019.  He had a great time.  He hung out in the hallway with his friend Dallin, both not sure what to think of the social scene in the gym...but when Dallin left an hour into the dance, CJ made his way into the gym...where he came face to face with his dancing fears.  Which he conquered!!!  He danced 4 times, 3 different girls, and I think he said he asked 1 of them!  Whoohoo...victory!  One of the girls was a 17 year old who thought he was a lot older than 13~ boy was she surprised!  But, such a flattering moment for CJ.  I think he actually might have enjoyed himself!!  When Laura asked what did he talk about with the girls he danced with he said..oh this and that..and kitchen appliances...hmm that is a new one!  I guess whatever it takes to keep the conversation alive...kitchen appliances will do!
