So there is this secret camping spot in Avery, Idaho. The Bakers gave us directions - and off we went! As we traveled here, we were captivated by the beauty, the tunnels and the bridges. "Gee this place reminds us of the Hiawatha trail" Well, sure enough - it is the Hiawatha trail - just the other side of it. And made for cars and motorcycles - Oh boy - this is going to be fun!
I guess several LDS families come and camp here over Memorial day and Labor Day weekends... and it's "the best kept secret". Well...we had no idea we were becoming part of a secret society when we accepted an invitation to go camping with the Baker Family (a family in our ward with 5 boys!)But, when we saw this place - we definitely could see why they would want to keep it a secret...its awesome. It was kinda funny - soon after we arrived we had a family come, introduce themselves and make us swear to secrecy - I think they were kidding, but were they??
