Ground Zero/Freedom Tower was the first place we visited on our trip to NYC. The Memorial consists of 2 square reflecting pools which outlines where the twin towers used to stand. The names of all the victims are lined around the outside of the memorials. A single white rose is placed on a 911 victim's name on the day of their birthday. Freedom Tower looms above the memorial.
