We have moved so many times, that we understand what it’s like to move away from friends and neighbors, or to have friends & neighbors move away. However, it is still difficult to have a close friend move away, and the Terry’s were definitely that. Sophie was someone that Laura could almost always call in a pinch when needed, especially since Sophie also would frequently call Laura in a pinch. If you’ve seen Anne of Green Gables, Laura might say that Sophie was her Dianna Barry. As life often happens, Scott got a job offer in Phoenix and moved out ahead of Sophie and the kids, and the time came for the rest of the family to follow on to a new adventure.
*we actually ended up saying goodbye 3 times, each time thinking it was the last..this was before spring break not sure if they will come back. Their house ended up taking longer to sell than expected so they ended up coming back from Spring Break and then leaving the first of June until they moved out in July.
