Benchmark Bikeride

There are gauges that we sometimes use to see how kids are progressing, whether it’s making marks on a doorway to monitor their growth, grades at school, or when they stop using diapers & start using undies…..or when they start not just riding on two wheels, but are able to ride long distances. We went for a ride on the Centennial trail with the kids, riding around 5 miles or so, with no bike trailer. Detric progressed to being able to ride long distances and he was a trooper. Erica is still learning to ride on 2 wheels, and rode on the bike seat on Laura’s bike. The next benchmark will have to be when we can take that seat off of Laura’s bike & take it to Airman’s Attic. We celebrated making it to the far end of the bike ride by stopping off at Zips for milkshakes and fries.
