Go to the parade...it will be fun they said...go to the fireworks..its an adventure they said... what they didn't say was that rain is the pits when you are trying to watch a parade and see the fireworks!! But, luckily we had a few umbrellas, sought shelter in a few shops, and had us some ice cream...because nothing says ice cream like freezing cold temperatures and parades...right? It definitely was an adventure... and memorable! We didn't last the whole time at the parade but we did see the Coeur D'Alene famous RED HOT MAMAS they were the hysterical, entertaining, and definitely the highlight of the parade! Who doesn't love elderly dancing ladies with walkers...um, YES!
