Klondike Derby

Well, one thing that Clay and the kids like about the Spokane area is……SNOW, SNOW, SNOW. So when there was a scout Klondike Derby at the end of January, there were no arguments when it came to going. Clay and CJ went with Craig Angelsey, Daniel Scheibmeir, Christian Ragazzine, Heath Scheibmeier and Sean Jackson about an hour North of Spokane to Camp Sunrise where they got a good fill of snow, including about 6 inches that fell overnight while they were there. The next day was filled with rifle shooting, fire starting, knot tying, bamboo bridge building, lashings,…. And of course, CJ built a lazy boy recliner out of snow.
