Aparri's baptism day was perfect. Aparri was baptized with 2 friends from the Ward (Valley View) Blake and Kiera. (Blake and Aparri actually share the same birthday!!) These are three very special kids. The stake took care of most of the arrangements, we gave a short spotlight of Aparri as we were waiting for the font. It was neat to hear a little bit about each kid from the different wards that were getting baptized! Then we split into different wards for the actual baptism and confirmations. Our ward chose to do a few musical numbers. The closing song was Aparri, Kiera, and Blake sining Gethsemane together with Laura accompanying on the piano. It was a special moment and the spirit was strong. We had a few refreshments at church and then invited neighbors, close friends, and family back to the house for a taco luncheon. It was the pefect way to celebrate Aparri and her special decision to be baptized!
