We had the Moss Family – Darryl, Janna, Alayna, and McKinley come over for Thanksgiving this year. It was so nice – they brought half the food so cooking was a breeze! Laura, Preston and Detric manned the turkey – surgery, cleaning, and looking at all the guts..you know – the usual Turkey things; Clay and Aparri made a perfect lemon meringue pie – Amy would be so proud of her son! It looked beautiful and tasted amazing. CJ made his famous cream cheese pie that he has down to perfection – wow…yum. We all worked together on the mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes…oh yes and Clay made his must have green bean casserole and Laura made her must have pretzel jello. The Moss family brought the rolls, another jello, drinks, vegetable tray, stuffing, and 2 desserts. It was seriously a FEAST!!! Since Laura didn’t get paper products soon enough – we got to eat Thanksgiving Dinner on Christmas plates – but that’s ok – who cares, right- especially since they were Rae Dunn Style??? After dinner we played a few games, had a white elephant gift exchange, and just sat around a chatted for a while. It was the perfect Friendsgiving day.
