When Sunday morning rolled around - everyone headed home; except US!! We had the cabin to ourselves! It was fun to be together with everyone for a few days, but we also enjoyed a peaceful quiet day together as a family. Thanks Janie and Johnny for letting us crash at your cabin for an extra day!! We started the day off with getting up bright and early and trying to go to church. We say "trying" because we got all ready, drove into Stanley, found the church - but it was dark and locked. Well, we tried. So we headed back to the cabin where we decided we had so much fun at the "Stinky Spa" aka Hot Springs the day before, lets take a Sunday drive and go locate a remote Hot Spring that you had to hike up into! Adventure is out there! This one was built up more like a hot tub that you put a plug into and let it fill up! We sat in the water, got nice and toasty hot, then we walked over to the freezing cold rushing river where we cooled off. We ended up challenging each other to see who could lay in the freezing water the longest!!!
