Julie has been planning this cousins trip to the beach for months. When she initially asked Laura to go - Laura instantly knew she couldn't go. There was a big meeting scheduled at Clay's work that same weekend. So he said thanks, but no. But as it turns out, Clay got sent on a business trip the week of the big meeting - so he got out of it... but he was still scheduled to be gone the whole weekend. Well... as it turned out Clay got home a day early, and he told Laura to jump in the car and go! So off she headed to the beach with her girl cousins and had a blast! The beach house was perfect - the weather was gorgeous, we played games (Egyptian rats screw & SCUM), stayed up late talking, went hiking, got lost, ate yummy food & lots of snacks, had red velvet pudding deliciousness from Candace, hot tubing at midnight, and even put our feet into the icy cold waters of the ocean - and then washed them off in the drinking fountain afterwards!
