After the statue of Liberty we hopped on the subway and rushed to CitiField in Queens/ Flushing, NY to try and catch the Mets game. We got the tickets for FREE from the McCarthy's (who we met at the Today Show and who are heading to the Kentucky Derby!) We arrived at the Mets game with just enough time to get a hot dog, see a few balls thrown, and soak up about 10 minutes of sunshine before the game was over....bummer. But we were glad we went GO Mets!
