Cross Country

 I think Aparri initially did cross country because it as a social thing... a way to hang out with friends in the morning. And that was great.  We kept trying to encourage Aparri to try her best and push herself.  Well, I think Aparri finally found her running groove and competitive nature... it was after the first meet, so about 1/2 way through the season, when she found it!  She finally realized that if she was motivated to run at home, on the weekend, outside, on the treadmill, during practice - running got easier and she could go faster!!!! Break through!!!  Now when she would have just walked or not wanted to push herself...we found her running and ready for action.  Watch out world...here comes Aparri ward...determined, ready, and  I can't wait to see what she does next year through the whole season!!!
