Terrain Race

 It was freezing cold and raining and we were struggling to stay warm.... when our designated race time came we made our way to the starting line where they made us plunge into a  pool of cold water...what?  Yep...our waiting area was a pool of water.   oh boy. This did not sound fun at all... Maybe if it was 100 degrees outside, that might feel good...but not today!  But we all gritted our teeth, chalked it up to experience, and made the plunge into the icy water.  Luckily once we started running we were able to stay warm.  This was a great group of ladies to be wet, cold and muddy with!   We were laughing the whole time! Julie came all the way up from Bend to run with Laura!  Jake Rabe got the spouse award...he came, cheered, watched, took pictures, and laughed at us!
