A Generally Foolish Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was coupled (well Tripled) with General Conference and April Fools Day!  Wow.  How many things can we celebrate and do on one day?  Oh, a lot let me just tell you!  Laura and the kids enjoyed Easter baskets, (Clay surprised Laura with a basket for her...she had no idea he had done that...sweet man!

He had recruited CJ to help him with the delivery in his absence! It even contained marshmallo peep oreos. Which were surprisingly good... Laura HATES peeps, but loves marshmallos and oreos... so it could go either way on that one and it ended up a winner! ) egg hunts, shishkabobs, skore cake, general conference and snacks on the big screen, a fall down the stairs, a hurt foot, a swimsuit showcase, april fools jokes, potato man games, and so much more!   It was a full day from sun up to sun down...and all through the night!  *More on that later!

Detric and CJ Getting into the silly spirit of Easter and April Fools...and don't they look good!

Aparri's April Fools Brownies.... Brown E's   HAHAHA

Preston's April Fools truffles - Chocolate Covered Brussell Sprouts..yum yum

Poor Clay missed  all the action at home and our Easter celebrations.  Now before you shed any tears or go feeling too sorry for this man... let me tell you, this "poor guy" had to "rough it" in dear ol' Hawaii...boohoo.  Where he was surfing, jumping in the ocean, eating pineapple and sipping coconut juice under the palm trees soaking in the sunshine.   Laura gave Clay a real hard time...  How can you go to Hawaii without your wife?  That is just wrong... When Clay got home he tried really hard to keep his smile and enthusiasm for his weekend contained -  but, we keep getting bits and pieces of all his fun and adventures in Hawaii, I have a feeling he had a great time on his Easter getaway!

We had to get an Easter family picture...so we took it the week before!!  You can always count on Laura to make sure the picture gets taken - no matter what!!!
