WONDER-FULL Weekend

At Preston's suggestion, Laura has been reading the book Wonder on her trip to Oklahoma.  It has been a very enjoyable read.  Preston's class at school has been reading the book together, and Preston has been very excited to discuss the book with Laura, so it will be fun to talk to him about the book and what happens.  Laura also told the kids if they will read the book, she will take them to see the movie in November when it comes out!  We have watched the trailer several times...maybe we will start reading it together as a family.

Laura has also been wanting to watch the movie Wonderwoman.  But it has been out of redbox ... well, we finally got it and watched it!  I'm sad and sorry to report, it was a disappointment.  It just didn't captivate us and it didn't have a great story line, but we did eat some great kettle corn while we watched it..and then Clay had to study, so Laura watched 12 dates of Christmas...now there is a wonderful movie.  No matter how many times she watches it, it never gets old (and believe me - she's watched it ALOT!)  So even though WonderWoman didn't end up too terribly wonderful, the night still was wonderful!

**Also our last day in Oklahoma City we tried out a fresh sushi restaurant.  The sushi was warm, so Laura was disappointed in her dish (Laura is more of a cold sushi girl), but Clay enjoyed his dish...sushi is sushi!  Yum YUM
