The cotton fields were amazing. They totally intrigued Laura. All over Oklahoma there were cotton fields. Fields and fields of white puffs. As we would pass them, Laura kept saying she wanted to stop and see and feel the cotton plants. So, as we were driving back from Quartz Mountain, Laura saw a field and asked Clay to pull over. Laura was so excited and hoped some farmer wouldn't get mad that some random lady was in his fields....It was so cool...the cotton plants are like cotton balls on stems. I kid you not...Laura wasn't sure what she was expecting...but not that! This was legit and fields of cotton!!! Wow. Laura got to see and handle the real deal! Cotton on a stick.
